10K Potentiometer

The 10K Potentiometer is a compact 3-terminal variable resistor used to adjust voltage, signal level, contrast, speed or calibration in electronics circuits. Ideal for Arduino, Raspberry Pi, robotics, audio control, sensor tuning and DIY projects, it provides a smooth analog output when connected as a voltage divider. This 10 kilo-ohm rotary potentiometer is a must-have component for makers, students, repair technicians and embedded electronics developers in India.

About 10K Potentiometer

A 10K Potentiometer is one of the most widely used adjustable passive components for electronics prototyping and product development. It contains a resistive track of 10 kilo-ohms and a movable wiper connected to the rotating shaft. As the shaft is turned, the wiper position changes, allowing the potentiometer to work either as a variable resistor or, more commonly, as a voltage divider that provides a continuously adjustable analog voltage to a microcontroller ADC pin. This 3-pin rotary potentiometer is especially useful with Arduino, ESP32, Raspberry Pi Pico, STM32 and other development boards where a simple user input or calibration control is required. Connect the two outer pins to VCC and GND, and the centre pin to an analog input to read values for menu control, LED dimming, motor speed setting, servo position, LCD contrast adjustment or sensor threshold tuning. It can also be used in audio preamplifier circuits, tone-control experiments and general repair work where a 10K control is specified. The 10K value is popular because it draws low current from 5V or 3.3V logic supplies while still being easy for analog inputs to measure reliably. The device is generally carbon-track construction with three solder lugs or PCB-friendly terminals, and a rotary shaft that can be fitted with a compatible knob if required. For best results, use it for low-power signal and control applications, not as a high-current load controller. Package includes 1 x 10K potentiometer. Knob, mounting nut and washer may vary by batch or be sold separately depending on listing stock. Pin note: outer terminals are the ends of the resistive element; the middle terminal is the wiper/output.
